"You know there’s got to be a faster way to do this. How about we just change the first question to ‘have you recently dated a homicidal pyromaniac?’"

Character Name: Kathlen "Kate" Saunders
Alias: Katelyn "Kate" Moore
Age: 22 years old
Date of Birth: July 4, 1987
Residence: She lives where the job calls her to. Most her houses are "burn houses" provided by the FBI. They are normally either run down or just enpty detirmining what the job calls for.
Profession: Counter Terrorism- Undercover Agent
Appearance: Kate is of average size. Her body build is very petite, though. She is very skinny, though it isn't very obvoius that she doesn't eat that much. She just looks naturally skiny. She does look kidn of sickly, though. There are almost always dark circles under her eyes and she looks tired all the time. Her hair is long and thick. It is a dark brown with some red woven into it. Her eyes are a hazel brown and at times they lookes sort of fogged over, like she isn't all there. She is also bone white all the time. Though when you look at her you really don't think that anything is worng with her. After all her job does reguire her to either look bad a** or at least nothing like a cop, which she doesn't. Behind all of the bad stuff she os incredable beuatiful as well, though, which also helps.
She wears mostly baggy shirt cloths. Nothing to nice or expensive or anything like that. But she does own quite a few nice designer cloths. When she needs to go into work, as an agent, she wear fairly nice dress cloths, but nothing to expensive. And she never wears a dress or skirt. You would never think her as either rich or a girlly girl.
Personality: At first sight Kate is like any other girl. Quiet and out of the way. But at further examination she is quite blunt and over the top. Though she does not talk tht much when she does it is more straight forward. She doesn't try and tip-toe over people's feelings. She is also not your typical girl. She is able to take care of herself, and that's the way she likes it. If you give her a gun and place her in a danerous situation she would be happy. She isn't trigger happy, though, she knows how to take orders and only fire when she needs to. Though there has been a time or two that she acted out of line, always she was cleared because her job is a very high stress one that you can't always follow orders with out getting yourself, or someone else, killed.
Kathlen isn't the nicest person to be around, but she isn't all that bad of a person either. She really does care about other people, she just doesn't basically care about what people think about her. The only things she hids for people are the fact that she is a drug addict and that she has no family but has a butt loud of money. Years ago she would have seemed like a sweet rich, preppy kid, but now she doesn't talk but you know not to cross her paths.
Deep down she is broken, though. Almost every night when she is alone she cries herself to sleep. She mourns the deaths of her family and she curses the ones that killed them, swearing to get back at them for what the did to her. Because of her drug abuse she can have mood swings, some that might cause her to reveal this softer, more veranable side to her. The one thing you don't want to see is Kate on withdraw. She always needs her fix or she becomes the green monster.
History: Kate was born in Washington, D.C. to a rich politiation of a father. Her mother was a stay at home mom with two other children, Annalyn and Realin, twin sisters. The twins were a year and a half older than Kathlen, but the three of them got along like triplets. Her life was mostly uneventful for the first few years. Living in the capitla of the country was stressful as much as it was fun. The three sisters enjoyed going to the memorals around the town as well as seeing the president and other famous polititals. They grew up and lived in a very large and had frequant parties. As a young girl Kate loved to get dressed up and play hostess to all the rich geusts they would have.
Life went on in a happy hase, never once did she think anything could go wrong. When she was forteen years old her family took a trip to New York. It was a fine september day. When they went to the World trade center they had no idea what was could. Her father was there to do some busness as the rest of the fmaily went to see the buildings before they went out on the town for another fun filled day. The planes hit so fast that they didn't know what hit them. In a fog Kate got out of the falling twin towers, but some how she was lucky and her family was not. For hours she looked through the other servivors looking for her family, nothing. It wasn't until a few days later that their bodies were found. All four of them were dead. And just like that Kate found herself an orphan.
All her families money and posetions went to her. She didn't want them though. Cosudy of her went to her father's brother who lived in California. Kate sold her large house and put all the money in a savings acount before moving to LA. The fun socail girl withdrew into herself never really connecting to the Uncle she had rarely heard of before the day he became her gradian. When Kate turned 18 she left the man's home forever, never looking back. She wanted to get away from it all so she went to a college up in Washington State. She knew what she wanted to do, she wanted to catch the men that had caused her families death. Cause her own death. While in college she started to look for a away to forget. That's when she stumbled apone drugs. Before she knew it she was addicted to Heroein.
Some how the drugy student got through school with mostly A's, maybe it was because the drugs was what she really needed. Then she worked to get into the FBI. She really didn't look like a drug addict so the only thing she had to do was get past the drug test, which some how she managed to do. That being done she started her career of catching terrists. It wasn't look before she was asigned to be an undercover agent. She was the right mix between relable (Boy where they wrong) and not looking like a cop to get away with it. Now Kathlen, or Katelyn- her undercover name, jumps from place to place going where she is needed and helping the FBI uncover different cells. She was just assigned to a new team with one Krys Robin and Matthew Grimaldi. As of yet she has been able to hid the fact that she is both rich and addicted to heroin from her new team.

Anything Else?: No one, unless you read her file, knows that she was in the twin towers on 9/11. Or that thats how her family died. And when she talks about her family it is as if they are still alive, or that she is where they are, which is basically right, since Kate died that day with them. As well as no one knowing she is a millionar or a heroin addict.
Roleplay Sample: Reid watched Krys trying to be big and brave, which was hard to see since she was so small and innocent looking. He wasn't sure if anyone could be afraid of her, but than again she could be like Garcia; looks nice and helpless but you never want to cross paths with her. That seemed to be the case for most computer "nerds". Even Kevin, Garcia's boyfriend, was like that at times. Reid thought back to her presentation, something easily done, and remember that she was in counter terrisum, and worked with computers. That was about the jest of what she said about her job. The rest was odd comments and phrases in a language Reid knew as what the kids spoke now a days. Boy did he feel old when he didn't understand a word of what she was saying.
"Your welcome..." Reid mutter, not even sure if he had spoken loud enough to be heard. He wondered if his actions had been taken the wrong way. What if she thought he was trying to be a macho man, even though he could never look like one. Her next comment made it seem like she felt sorry for him. Did he really look that sad and hurt by the kids laugher? Quickly he looked up from the ground and tried to look more brave. Yet some how he failed. "They could be walking away because they don't think we're worth it. Meaning that they win...." he said not really thinking about how cynical he sounded. "Anyway they still can make fun of me, so what did I win?" All in all her logic did make sense, but some how Reid's haunted past wouldn't let him admit that he might have one. You never win when it comes to bullies. Not even when you tell a teacher and get them expelled. That only causes more problems in the end.
Reid wonder if her answer to "are you okay" was supposed to be some sort of joke. It sounded like it, kind of. But yet it wasn't funny. So Reid just forgot about it, knowing that it didn't matter. Reid almost toppled backward when Krys came closer to him to look at his name tag. It wasn't anything personal, just he never liked to be touched by others, especially ones that showed a few signs of mental illness. It really didn't surprise him that she knew who he was. In many ways he was kind of famous around the FBI. It seemed like she didn't know much about his work, though, hadn't see listened to his speech at all? Was he really though boring?
It turned out she knew him through Garcia. It was surprising that two computer geniuses meet one day. He was starting to feel a little claustrophobic, though, but at the same time he didn't want to hurt her feelings. Instead he let her step back herself, then he turned and moved a little closer to the wall so to get a little farther away from her with out seeming like he didn't want to be there. Leaning against the wall he said. "Yeah, I work with Garcia." He said. There wasn't anything else he could say. Most of what she had said had been worthless talk anyway. She really seemed to be a talkative one, which made it easy on for Spencer having only to answer her questions when asked and endure the other stuff. He wondered if his phone was ever going to ring calling him into work. Not that he was really that anti-social. he just didn't feel very confortable standing in the middle of a college hallway.[/size]
