Morgan closed his eyes and looked away from the pair. She was being stupid - but he understood her, and that was something that scared him. His teeth were clenched, and his eyes were closed, his head turned to the side - but he nodded at Reid's plea for him to let them have some time alone.
He'd want it, if he were in Reid's place.
"Yeah, of course. I'll find that cure, kid." He was mad at himself for the fact that his voice came out strained. He couldn't loose Reid - he was family, nothing less. Losing him would be losing a part of himself.
He paused at the door, turning back towards Krys and Reid. He didn't want to sound selfish, and he knew that was what it would come out like. But he couldn't help it - he had to ask. "Look - you said that the thing came through the vents in the computer room ... that it was contained." He swallowed. "Reid - tell me now if there was anyone else in the room."
Garcia.

While the two men worried over Krys' health, oddly enough she was unaware, or just didn't put much worth on her own existance. In her own mind all there was, was worry for her best friend Spencer Reid. Surely it was something both men would understand even without explanation. They each surely had people that they cared about so much that they'd do anything for. Then again, maybe she really was just odd... Or in love. Not that she could think on that now. She never did put much worth on attachments involving herself... Or at least she tried not to.
Krys turned her gaze to Spencer who was speaking rather quietly, in fact he had been relatively silent since she had stripped herself of the contamination suit. Her brow furrowed with concern, not for herself but for him. "Spence..." Her voice hinted at an apology, but not for taking the suit off, she merely felt awful for making him feel this way. Inwardly she blamed herself for Spencer being in this predicament. She always seemed to get him into trouble. Maybe if they never met.. No. She didn't want to picture that, even in a fictional place. It wasn't good.
In hearing Derek's concerned voice behind her she glanced over her shoulder, brown eyes peering at the man seriously. She wasn't stupid. She knew what he meant and who he was inquiring about. "No." She stated simply, very quiet. "Just us... Well..." She swallowed before looking at Spencer forlornly, eyes laced with a weight that couldn't be explained other than guilt. "Him, anyways." Why did he have to push her out of the room? Why couldn't he have saved himself? Why did he do what he did? There were so many questions that she just couldn't answer. That's when she felt it...
A wetness under her nose. Bringing up her right hand in quiet she wiped and glanced at her hand. A few drops of dark red blood. This wasn't good.

It was in the moment that he saw the blood from Krys' nose that he knew just how dangerous this situation could get. Of course, it was possible that the analyst had a nose bleed - unlikely, but it was what Morgan wished to believe - but he couldn't do nothing about it. He raised his brow at her, and shot Reid a quick look. The kid would be fine if he left him for a few moments - he would be back, everyone could be sure of that - and the damage that Krys had done had already been done; there was nothing he could do about that now.
"You're going to need to be checked out, kid - you know that. And that's gonna mean telling your superior." He felt bad about that - but there was no way around it. He was unable to do the damage, but if she had the disease now, she was going to have to be admitted. If she didn't, she had to be at least checked out. It was the least that Morgan could do to give the two kids a bit of time alone before the mayhem started.
"Look - I'll give you as much time here as I can. Is there someone who you want me to tell first - someone you want me to avoid telling right away? I don't want to make this more of a problem than it already is." He was trying to make the best of a situation that was steadily going downhill - if he could tell someone else besides Jack first - if there was family that she'd rather have called - he'd do it. He knew what these situations were like.

Reid was feeling worse and worse as time went on. He felt bad about having to push Morgan out of the room, but he wanted to be with Krys by himself. he needed to be with her. He needed to know that she was okay. When Morgan asked if there was anyone else in the room Reid would have answered but he could feel a coughing fit coming and refrained for speaking afraid of the pain that it would bring not only to himself, but to Krys and Derek. He did feel wicked for not being able to ease the other man's pains. To let him know that Garcia was okay, even though he was sure that if she had been infected Morgan would have known, no matter what the situation was. Luckily Krys spoke quickly and explained they were alone. Her story brought more pain on Spencer, however, because he could feel the pain she had for him going to save himself and not her.
Reid would have never saved himself, no matter who else was in the room, unless that person got to him first and forced him out before he could them. Most of all would have been Krys, because though the young man still didn't know his true feeling for the other woman he still wouldn't be able to stand seeing her fall sick. However it seemed that his efforts had been in vain! Krys' noise began to bleed and Reid knew that the only reason for that would be she was infected with it. No matter how hard he had tried to keep her safe he had failed, and now they would have to watch each other die together. "Krys..." Reid muttered probably to soft to be heard before he was thrown into another coughing fit. One that was far bigger than it would have been before seeing Krys' blood.
His head pounded fiercely when he finally stopped coughing. He could concentrate on anything. The Virus seemed to be moving a lot faster than it was before. Maybe it was because he had had direct contact with the white powder. Maybe it was the pain of losing Krys that was forcing it through his weary body fast. Reid couldn't be sure. All he knew was he could feel the blood starting to drip down the side of his head from his ear. Pain engulfed every cell in his body. He didn't want Krys or Morgan to be there, thus he hid the blood in the side of his head, knowing Morgan would never be able to concentrate totally on the case, in order to save Krys, if he knew the pain the young agent was it. "Just don't tell Matt...." He said in answer to Morgan's question, his voice hoarse from coughing. Reid knew that Matt would have a heart attack if he knew the danger his teammate was in. The best person to tell would be Chez and maybe Kate, both woman wouldn't totally be lost in their anger at the other.

In hearing her name Krys' eyes were focused on Spencer only to watch in utter horror as he went into a painful coughing fit. At first she couldn't even move, she was stunned. It was like she was glued to the spot. Her feet couldn't even move and instead she felt like she couldn't breathe. She couldn't even take in a simple inhale. Instead she was helpless, watching the man she cared so deeply for suffer. She hated it. She couldn't stand it much longer.
She used her upper right arm to wipe the blood away from her nose when she was greeted with the shock of the blood trickling down from Spencer's ear and down the side of his face. Enough was enough. Not even thinking, or even caring if Derek Morgan was still in the room she rushed to Spencer's side. "Spencer." She tried to keep her voice quiet so that he wouldn't hear the worry in it, but it didn't help much.
Now sitting on the edge of the bed she reached for a tissue and wiped gently across the side of his face in an effort to rid of the blood. "There." She gave him a simple nod as she swallowed, trying to encourage him as best she could. Unfortunately it was a losing battle. She couldn't even convince herself. Without thinking she rested her right hand, from just beyond the tissue, on the side of his face, just to feel his skin, his warmth. Hopefully he wouldn't be too smart for his own good and figure out exactly why. Truth be told, she didn't even know why.
"You'll be alright." She told him quietly, her brown eyes gazing down at his face. She fought the urge to idly rub her thumb against his face. That would probably be pushing things. Instead she did her best to continue to reassure him, despite the ill state that he was in. "I'll stay with you, okay? Make sure that you're alright?" She found her voice choking and it was no secret, she might cry. She hated seeing him like this. He was supposed to be the smart one!

He sighed and closed his eyes - this wasn't something that he could do. He'd watched his father die in front of him and the memories still haunted him every day. Watching another person die wasn't something he thought he could do again - not when that person was Reid, or now Krys. No, he had to go do his job - as much as he was torn between wanting to stay there for the both of them (as much as it would kill him to see Reid like that) and dashing out of the room and hiding, he had to go tell someone what had happened in the past few minutes.
He had to, plainly put, go tell Krys' team. It was one of the worst parts of being an agent - informing people when something went wrong. It was the part that Derek Morgan hated with a burning passion.
He had to tell Hayley. He couldn't tell Matt - not after how much Matt already hated Reid, he'd seen that back at headquarters. And Reid had plainly asked him not to.
"Hey, look - if you need anything, either of you - screw the cell phone rule, kiddo."
