This was Greg's first day on the job. He was super exited to get there and get working, to meet his new team members. He loved meeting new people even if he was completely nerdy. It was a surprise then that he was late. It wasn't to bad, but by the time he got to the FBI he was already thirty minutes late. And then he had to go through all kinds of things to actually get to go to the crime lab. He had to get him ID, which of course he hadn't gotten before hand. He had to meet with a few people, who where so mad that he was late. And then he was able to go to his new work. To top it all off Greg hadn't slept a wink that night, to exited to start work, and had had a couple of donuts for breakfast, to lazy to cook anything.
When he got to the first glass cubical he quickly got in and did what he needed to do. He was sure he would be completely annoyed with the thing in a week. Then he entered the lab. At first he didn't see anyone else. He looked at the four tables and saw which one would be his. He smiled widely, a very lovely smile that everyone loved. The new guy was a DNA specialist. He did everything from computers to actually using chemicals and stuff to figure things out. And he was quite good at his job.
It wasn't until he walked a little further into the lab that he noticed the back room, where three others were standing. He smiled again and walked to the glass. The door needed a code to get in so he stood there and knocked on it a little, waving at the three, one girl and two boys. Today his hair was spiked kind of messily, almost like he had bed head. The blonde tips shown really well in the bright lights of the lab. Under his lab coat he was wearing a black t-shirt, and jeans. The sight actually looked rather funny. Waving he said, "Hey." Yet he knew Tori, Quin, and Lance couldn't hear him. ((ooc: Sorry bad post, and I'm posting it after everyone follows Tori into the back lab.))

(No probs, Reid. And sorry for the wait, guys.) Quin looked up at Tori as she began to walk into the lab. He followed suite, knowing just exactly what was needed to be done right about now. He went over to Lance and rapped at his table, tapping his shoulder and pointing at the inner lab, mainly because the poor guy was still busy reading.
He walked into the glass cubicle, wearing the latex gloves and closing his eyes for the spray. It made no difference, since it was air-based and he couldn't feel it. Stepping into the lab, he watched Tori until he heard a tap at the door.
Spinning around, Quin saw a guy around Tori's age, tapping the glass door with his hand. Quin looked at him and back to Tori, open-nouthed and confused. First he had little fantasies about Tori and that guy, but then re-thought it. Tori would've rubbed it in if she had gotten a boyfriend.
Tapping the brunette's shoulder, Quin pointed at Gerg, still dumbstruck.

Lance sat down at his seat after the whole cash thing broke off, picking up his dictionary and learning his phonetics again.
The linguist was so intense on reading that he hadn't noticed Tori walk into the lab, Quin getting up to follow. Of course, Lance realized this when Quin came over to tap his shoulder, looking more fun than before.
Dumping his dictionary and heading towards the door, Lance walked into the lab and commenced procedure-ment. Spray, gloves and whatnot. The iner lab smelt of chemicals, alcohol and the normal stuff, which Lance found to be rather annoying, but alright none the same.
He lingered around until a faint tapping sound was heard from the door, and her turned to see a man standing by the outer lab, obviously wondering how to get it. Lance went over to Tori and noticed that Quin was there too. Lance stood at his side, following Quin's point to Greg with his own. "I just have a really strange feeling he wants us to go over to him." Lance stated, raising his eyebrows. (The shortness of this post comes along with my apologies. And sorry for any spelling errors or typos. My spell check wont work.)

Tori picked up the files and glanced them through, twitching and sighing at the results. 172 degrees... and yet nothing melted. Why? Tori pursed her lips, closing her eyes and pushing her hair away from her face. She went over to the chemical table to grab a rubber band, tying her hair while walking back towards the table where the little boy was located.
The syringe and the other apparatus was all located beside the body, ready to re-do his liver pressure test. Tori got very engrossed in doing so that she jumped when Quin tapped her shoulder. "Holy crap Quin what was that for...?" She looked at the way both Quin and Lance were pointing and couldn't help but laugh. They look so funny when synchronized.
At the other side of the lab, Tori saw a man with a rather ‘unique’ hairstyle and a new-day excitement look. She recognized him as Greg Wolfe, the new acceptant which she had recently been told was hired into her department. She waved back at him, before realizing that the door was locked.
Walking up to the door, she opened the glass door and smiled at him, holding her hand out for him to shake. “Tori. You must be Greg, right?” She smiled. He seemed alright. Maybe a change from Lance and Quin. Tori knew not just how wrong she could be. [/blockquote]

Greg watched in amusement as the two boys say him. One looked kind of horrified the other confused. Greg couldn't help but let out a laugh. The girl, however, was working over a dead body. 'She must be Toriann.' he thought remembering the details of his team. There was also a linguistic, and a computer nerd. This would be fun, Greg was ready to learn all kinds of things from the three. First, however, he had to get to them. That was going to slightly hard when neither of the guys knew what to do. They just stood there staring and pointing. This only made Greg laugh even harder.
By the time looked around at him, promoted by Quin's touch, he was visible laughing. When the door finally opened he had to work really hard to control his laughs. He didn't want them to think he was some sort of weirdo. But in truth he was. How could they not see that in his hair and chose of shirt. Taking Tori's hand and shaking it he smiled. "Yep, that's me." He said smoothly. Then he looked away from the, obviously hot, girl, whom he was told was his "boss", and at the others. "Oh, let me guess who you are..." he said amusement still in his voice. this was going to be a fun. "Um... hum... Blue eyes has got to be Lance Dominic." He said after several moments of silence. "So that means you are Jacob Quinto, am I right?" It was actually quick easy to tell who was who. After all only a visibly nerdy person would be called Lance. Some might say it was something else that told him what their name's where. Like a kind of psychic power. Greg however didn't think so. Sure he believed in it, which was odd because of his beliefs in science, but he just didn't think he did. ((ooc: sorry it's so short.))

Quin stared at Tori as she walked over to the guy, his thoughts still throbbing. His eyes widened when she gave a smile, walking closer to the door. How could she? Why didn’t she tell him and Lance? What does the guy do for a living?! Tori how could-
… Oh. The worries stopped when she had to introduce herself, though, since it seemed safe now. He walked over there himself, confused. Being the slow guy he was, Quin looked at Tori then at Lance, switching to Greg at last. And then it occurred to him.
Of course! Forensic Sciences were supposed to have a new member in today. He recalled Tori saying something about it, but he was too busy either convincing her about something or teasing Lance that he hadn’t actually listened to a word she said. Well, he never actually did listen to anything. Maybe when she complimented him, but that’s about it.
Walking over to Greg, Quin eyed the handshake a little sharply. A business touch, nothing more. He told himself. Tori wouldn’t, would she? Dismissing these things, he looked back up at Greg and grinned. “Yeah, Quin for all those who know me. I’m giving you a slip so just skip the Jacob stage.”
“I’m twenty-six, proud American and my favorite color is teal.” Quin stated, just to finish up his introduction.
As the blond stared more at Greg and Tori, he squinted. Now there were three boys in the office. Tori was certainly really good, maybe even amazing, eye candy, but then again, how could three pairs be on her at once? Quin hoped, and prayed that Greg thought nothing of her. (Honestly, the three of us don't mind shortness. At least I think. <-- Speaking for myself here.)

Lance nervously tagged behind Tori as she walked to the new dude, rubbing his eyes with his right hand. These contacts sure were irritating. When Lance saw him, he looked like he was stifling away his laughter. Lance really wasn’t aware of what he was laughing about, being a rather blur person and all.
Greg? Lance pursed his lips, thinking hard. Greg… Greg… G-R-E-G. Hmm… Lance clicked his tongue as he remembered. Ah yes, the new recruit. Lance heaved a sigh, half out of relief and half out of the realization of his stupidity. The new guy seemed like one of Quin's types, but a bit like Lance himself as well. Oh well, these things shall have to be discovered later.
Rising to a heightened position, Lance was about to introduce himself as well as reply to Greg's question when Quin stepped in, being his confident, conceited self. As Quin eyed Tori and Greg, Lance couldn’t help but smirk ever so slightly.
Inwardly he knew, and knew very well, that Tori would get to know someone before considering them friend or anything more than that. But then again, she was also a very open, airy and amazing person and loved making others feel welcome. That's pretty much the thing that made Lance secretly crazy over her.
When Quin's introduction ended, Lance nodded, smiling and trying to seem normal. "Blue eyes, huh?" he managed to say without falling over himself and looking like an idiot, "Lance will do though, or Aramis, by some would know." (Yeah, I don't mind shortness. Really!)

Tori liked the new guy. He seemed a little different, in a good way. No annoyingly terrible pick-up lines yet, and no endless sneezing fits either. Not that Tori actually hated those things about her teammates, she kind of liked the fact that the two of them were opposites. It gave her a lot of personality to investigate.
She smiled, turning around as Quin and Lance began to introduce themselves. She rolled her eyes at Quin's, and giggled at Lance's statement about blue eyes. They certainly were a beauiful shade of icy blue. Tori perked up when Lance said Aramis, and immediately began the explanation.
"Since we consisted of three last time, we've been Prodigious Musketeers for a while now. I'm Porthos, by the way. Quin over there would be our darling Athos." Tori told Greg, suddenly finding that Greg had not spot with them. She furrowed her eyebrows, placing one hand on the side of her head and the other propped against the wall. She walked out of the lab, pointing to the three boys and asking them all to follow her out.
She went over to the empty table, which was now to be Greg's. "This is yours, by the way, d'Artagnan." she said, unconsciously slipping out a quick 'Three Musketeer' character name. OOC;; Well, I know I don't, coz my posts get short a lot of times. Now for instance.

When Greg found out that he had gotten the two names right he celebrated with a loud, "Yes!" and the movement most people make with they get something right. ((ooc: yeah I know, but I can't think about what it should be called...)) Where he balled up his hand in a fist and pulled his elbow back, like he was hitting someone behind him. And pulling his same side leg up a little. Then he looked on, listening to what Quin actually had to say. "My favorite colors Blue." he said with a wide smile, amused by the small fact. It was kind of weird the Quin would actually say something like that, not that it was a weird comment, just not normal Nice to Meet You talk. Greg liked it though, that meant that he wasn't a boring nerd guy working in a lab. He knew that he could be a scientist and not a nerd, not that Greg wasn't a nerd at all.
Then it was Lance's turn to introduce himself. He seemed a little unsure about the eyes. Which Greg had to laugh at. It was kind of cute. Even though he seemed like the awkward nerdy type Greg thought that he was still a cool guy, not that he would think anything bad about his new co-workers on the first day of the job. Sure he disliked a bunch of people, but he never hated anyone before he knew them really well. And even the people he hated he kind of liked. Greg was just such an easy going guy. Greg was kind of confused with Lance said he was also know as Aramis. The name itself didn't make any since. He just figured it was some kind of online name or something like that.
It wasn't until Tori pointed out the fact that they all had Prodigious Musketeers names. It didn't quite make sense to him because he wasn't that big of a geek to know who the three Musketeers were, though he knew the story, kind of. "Musketeers..." he said slowly running the word long. It wasn't so much as a confused sound, though he kind of was, but an interested kind of I'll humor you tone. He just let it drop, though, figuring it didn't mean all that much. He walked over the to table that was to be his desk. He looked at it and smiled. "Just like home." he said. Then he heard the name Tori called him. Actually he heard it before, but it didn't register until then, "d'Artagnan?" He smiled this time sounding confused. He made a note to actually watch the movie, or if it wasn't a movie read the book.

Quin smirked at Greg’s reaction to getting their names right. He shook his head and chuckled, obviously this guy was way more outgoing than Lance, wasn’t he? Rather happily, Quin nodded at Greg as he told him his favourite colour. Quin had just stated out facts of himself for the fun of it, oh but heck. The more you knew of your teammates, the better.
Smiling at Tori as she pointed out his musketeer character, Quin raised one eyebrow and grinned to himself. The reason that the character was his was because both Tori and Lance had labelled him as the ‘handsome father figure’. Well, at least that’s what Quin thought. Maybe it was just because there was no one else; Tori and Lance fitted their characters perfectly.
As they all sauntered out into the lab, Quin looked confused as Tori called Greg d’Artagnan. It was the name of the person that the musketeers met and found to be interesting, or in other words, the newbie. Quin realized this with a smile, making his way to his own table.
”Lucky you got that table, eh?” Quin joked, speaking more to Tori than anyone else, although he was facing Greg. Quin wondered why he never chose that table in the earlier days, when they were all new to each other and Tori wasn’t really comfy with being the only girl.
All those things had changed. He shook his head at the memories of the first day; a stuttering Lance who wouldn’t stop rambling, the rather curvy figured Tori who had a sharp tongue and awesome wit but didn’t take any interest in men as well as being too professional for her own good (or rather, Quin’s), and then he himself, who had actually been, well, shy. Such change had developed, true enough.

Lance found Greg to be decent, at least. He hadn't done anything as bad as Quin, or as stuttery as Lance. It probably was better that way anyway; who would want another duplicate of those two? The linguist smiled, nodding helpfully at Tori's musketeer explanation. It had just popped in all their minds like that, oddly enough.
He walked into the outer lab with everyone else, turning to his own table when Greg went over to his. As Lance adjusted the lab coat he was wearing, he heard Tori call Greg d'Artagnan. Maybe that wasn't such a bad idea... after all, Greg was the newbie very much like d'Artagnan himself. Okay... (Dead muse after being busy with the love map and journal. XP)

Tori slapped her hand over her mouth at her slip-up. "What, no. Um, I... uh."
She sighed, coiling her lock of curls over one shoulder. "I just... seemed appropriate." Tori informed him, sitting down at her own desk, pointing her hand at his and asking him to sit as well. She shook her head, turning to her computer and clicking a few things. Greg's arrival is completed, more or less.
She looked at Quin and Lance, who were by their own tables. Quin addressed Greg, but she had a feeling that the statement was well and truly meant for her. Tori looked up from her monitor screen to give the blond boy a glare, cocking her head to one side and stating, "Lucky you didn't then, right?" she challenged, leaning back in her chair and lifting her head. She proceeded back to Greg's arrival application though, ticking off things on the lists. She turned to the boy, asking him a quick trivia of questions. The trio was 'what's your previous job', 'have you been in contact with serious viruses lately' as well as the last one going something like 'do you have a spouse'. Tori reread that question twice before asking it to Greg, feeling odd. How on Earth had that got onto the trivia? Maybe they changed the set of questions these past few months. Tori wouldn't have known, after all. She repeated to Greg these questions, waiting for his answer. [/blockquote]

Greg laughed at Tori's reaction. Obviously she hadn't meant to call him that. He didn't mind though, after all it did fit. He was the new guy. And as long as they didn't treat him badly for being the newbie he wouldn't mind. That was one thing that could set the even tempered Greg off; someone hating on him for no good reason. If someone just didn't like him and had a reason then he would be fine with it, though he would still like that person unless it was totally helpless or they did something terribly wrong to him. But it was hard to make Greg mad at you. After all the person that accidentally blow up his college lab giving him sever burns to his neck and back, which could be seen on his neck now, was still on good terms with Greg. It was a accident after all, and even if he spent over a week the hospital there was no reason to hold a grudge. "it's fine." He said with a nod.
”Lucky you got that table, eh?” Quin said. At first Greg didn't get it. Then he realized it was the closest to Tori. He smiled inward at the comment. So Quin liked Tori? It was obvious to Greg, but he wasn't sure if Tori knew about it so he didn't say anything. Her answer only confused the situation even more. Did she like him back or did she hate him? Greg could do either one, not that it was any of his business. He was actually glade when Tori changed the subject to the questionnaire. Sitting in his chair he leaned back and turned to face Tori.
"Lab tech at Stanford University." He paused a moment before he answered the next one thinking about the answer. "I don't think I've ever come into contact with any serious viruses... if I have my mother would have killed me." He smiled thinking about his over protective mother. She had actually sent him to the ER because of a nose bleed once. He wasn't sure what she would have done if he had caught a serious virus, whatever that meant. Smiling even more Greg answered the last question with a simple, "No." He didn't understand why that question was there either, but that wasn't the point. Greg thought about throwing in a witty comment, but decided that it wasn't the time.

Quin’s face turned into a girly pout when Tori retorted to his statement on the seating. He tilted his head to one side, widening his eyes innocently and saying, ”Aww, but Tori, you know I would’ve.” He knew that was exactly what Tori hated to hear, especially when he made it sound sincere. He smirked, glancing around him at his own place and pretending to sigh in disappointment.
Obviously Greg might’ve been a bit lost in their office relationships, Quin liked Tori, but Tori found him annoying. A lot, but knew he liked her. Lance liked Tori too, but he hid it well and true. Quin looked at Greg, smiling and turning to face Tori, who was asking him a set of questions.
Wait. Spouse? Quin stared at Tori, gaping, and ran over there to look at the questions. It really was there. Quin was half thankful though; it meant Tori wasn’t asking Greg for the sake of you-know-what. He sighed in utter relief, gulping and slowly returning to his seat.
Sitting down again, Quin let out a breath and yawned. ”Welcome to the team, Greg.” He said as an official welcome.

Lance sat down at his own seat, half listening to the conversation between Greg and Tori while pulling out his dictionary again, half intending to study a bit more. As Tori read out the questions, Lance peeked over the top of his book, eyeing Tori nervously. Reading the expression on her face, he knew she was puzzled with that last question as well, so he didn't budge from his seat.
The same thing couldn't be said for Quin. He darted over there immediately, worried. Lance had to stifle a bark of laughter at this. He turned it into a cough, looking down at the itty-bitty text in his book. He cuaght himself looking up every now and then though, wondering what to do. Now that Greg was all settled in, should they just continue with their case or hang about?
He sighed, returning to his book before any further instructions form Tori was given. He couldn't really stand it though; doing nothing, that is. But Lance didn't really know what to do, so he looked to Tori for help, though he doubted that his subtle hints of clearing his throat and raising his eyebrows did any good.
