"You know there’s got to be a faster way to do this. How about we just change the first question to ‘have you recently dated a homicidal pyromaniac?’"

Your Name: Blondie - the same Blondie that's been roleplaying Morgan.
How many years roleplaying?: ... I honestly forget. Awhile. This , by the way, the unsub for the stealing Hotch's kid plot.
French poet Jacques Rigaut said, "Don't forget that I cannot see myself. My role is limited to being the one who looks in the mirror."

Character Name: Gerald Fay
Age: 39
Birthday: 12/15/70
Residence: Virginia
Profession: Home Depo cashier
Appearance: Gerald is not a man that anybody would notice, or remember, and this is due slightly to his own rendering, though mostly to genetics. He wears blandly colored clothes, and has never needed glasses during his lifetime. if he did, he would probably use contacts - he doesn't want anybody to have a distinguishing feature to remember him by. He does, however, have a bump in his nose due to breaking it when he was 13.
His hair is medium brown, and short. His eyes are nearly the same color as his hair, and he stands around 5'7''. Gerald is of average weight.
Personality: Gerald used to be a man full of love and joy. When around his kids, you couldn't find a happier man- his eyes shined, his face seemed to glow.
When his family passed away, things changed. Gerald kept to himself, growing more and more quiet in his work, he quit the job that he'd held as a lawyer - Gerald is an intelligant man haunted by tradgedy.
He is chased by his paranoia - after each pair of kidnapping and murders he changes cities, and jobs. He takes all the proper precautions, because on some level, he knows what he's doing is wrong - just not enough to stop it. This is something that he needs to do. He's not going to be one to contact the media - this is for his own need, not to become famous.
History: Gerald was a happily married man - his wife, MarieAnn, was the love of his wife. The couple had two children - Jamie and Lexi. They were the happy American family.
That is, until five months ago.
It was a routine summer day when Gerald left for work - he said goodbye to the children and MarieAnn, and left for work. There was no indication of what would happen that day, of what would come.
It was three pm when he got the call.
'There was an accident-'
The words would change his life forever.
On their way out for ice cream, MarieAnn, Jamie, and Lexi were killed in an automobile accident. He never got to say goodbye, and this haunted him.
Three coffins, three funerals. Chilling, disturbing, twisting his minds in ways even he couldn't comprehend.
He was never truly the same.
Then, three months ago, his mother passed from sudden heart failure.
Gerald snapped.

Roleplay Sample: Her steps were quick, light and airy, she had the pleased, glowing expression of someone who was taking pride in her work. While her eyes held the insistant and persistant quality of someone who had alot on her mind, her outward appearence was perfect - not a hair out of place, and her party dress was already on. The yellow, daisy coloerd fabric seemed to twinkle, and the bottom of the dress fluttered around her as she rearranged the carnations for the thirty second time. It wasn't every day when Alice Cullen got to throw a party - though she found the excuse as often as she could- and this party was even more special. The Cullens hadn't had a birthday party since Emmett's, and that was so many years ago now. A smile overtook her face - it had to be perfect for Bella.
Presents were stacked in an arrangement that Alice herself had made sure to perfect, the cake could feed more than fifty people, and the house glowed with a quality she hadn't seen it hold for awhile.
Her ears took in the sound of Jasper coming down the stairs, the glass bowls and vases clutched in his arms. Alice turned quickly, rearranging the flowers for the thirty third time in order to avoid him catching the smirk on her face. She'd been serious when she'd made that threat, and she hadn't missed the determination on his face.
She knew, however, that this was a different type of determined, a type of determined that had to do with more than the glassware and the couch threat it held.
This had to do with Bella.
Her unbeating heart twisted with guilt. She was putting him through something he didn't have to go through. She knew he didn't have to come to the party - everyone involved would understand.
But he was doing this for her. To make her proud. He was putting himself into a painful situation for her benefit. She'd worked to make this day grand, and he didn't want to ruin it. Alice couldn't help but feel the guilt at that. She was proud, though- proud of her empath. The mere fact that he was joining them, that he was determined to do so, showed something in him - resiliance.
"It's beautiful."
She turned, her golden eyes taking in the features that she loved so much. "It's not too much?" Doubt flickered behind her eyes, but he didn't have time to respond - the flicker of a vision set the wide smile on Alice's face.
"They're here!
Her brother and Isabella Swan entered the room - she didn't miss the smile on his face, or the slight bemusement at the new features that the house had taken on, and in an action that was suited to a three year old, she smiled sweetly and stuck out her tongue while Bella's eyes were fixed on the room.
The next thing she knew, Bella's arms were wrapped around her in a quick hug. "This is just great, Alice. You really went to town with this, didn't you?"
The pixie vampire smiled, golden eyes flashing happiness. "I'm glad you like it, Bella."
