I have two sites.. Plus this one. So I'm in 3. I like the number 3
"It started off as rioting. But right from the beginning you knew this was different, because it was happening in small villages, market towns... and then it wasn't on TV anymore. It was on the street outside. It was coming through your windows. It was a virus, an infection. You didn't need a doctor to tell you that. It was the blood, or something in the blood. By the time they tried to evacuate the cities, it was already too late. The infection was everywhere. The army blockades were overrun, and that's when the exodus started. The day before the TV stopped broadcasting, there were reports of infection in Paris and New York. You didn't hear anything more after that."
Late one night, an animal rights activist breaks into the New York City Research Facility to free chimpanzees being used for medical research. The scientist warns the activist that the chimps are infected with something he calls "Rage", but the activist ignores him and sets a chimp free. It immediately attacks and infects the activist. From there it begins to spread all over the city... Soon it'll be in Long Island, then upstate New York, then the surrounding states... There'll be no stopping it.
The virus will spread uncontrollably among the populace, turning most people into mindless, vicious creatures ("the Infected") and will cause a societal collapse, possibly on a global scale. Everything is thrown into chaos.
The armed forces have been called in: The military, the navy, the air force are all combining as one to combat what is going on. People are running for their lives. Rumor is some are fleeing to colder climates while others are taking over abandoned buildings as safe havens. Others have chosen to go it alone. How will you survive?

"This is what I've seen in the four weeks since infection: people killing people. Which is much what I saw in the four weeks before infection, and the four weeks before that, and before that, as far back as I care to remember- people killing people. Which, to my mind, puts us in a state of normality right now."
