"I'm not."
By this point Krys had moved back onto the couch, feeling utterly sick by what she had almost done. What a stupid move that would have been! What if he was repulsed, as no doubt he would be? Then that would have ruined everything! How dare she become so tired that it lead her to believe that even the inkling of it was a good notion. But that's when his voice cut right through her thoughts and she found herself looking up with a blank expression.
She could only stare at him in silence, her own lips lightly parted once again. There was something about his tone that made he heart skip a beat, that made her hope that maybe something was coming, and that something was good. It was silly to hope, especially after all she had been through but Krys found herself doing so anyways. Just holding onto a little bit of hope that something good would happen... And it did.
Spencer took the initiative, in a surprising turn, and closed the distance between their lips, something Krys was fine with and all too eager for. At first her eyes remained opened, surprised. She tried to check with reality, as though to make sure that it was real. This verification was given when his hand found it's way so very gently to the back of her skull, thus alluring her to close her eyes and become lost in the kiss.
It started off innocently enough. Feather light and not wishing to push things much further out of concern of taking Spencer to a place he wasn't ready for or didn't want (which was completely silly because he made the move first). Her hands moved to hold onto either side of his cheeks, taking in the warmth of his face and every subtle move that his jaw made, tilting her head just so to make the effort easier on the both of them. God his lips, though chapped, felt so right against her own. Her chest suddenly felt light. It tingled and yet it felt right. Did he feel the same way? She really didn't know.
Becoming a bit caught up in the kiss in her tired, yet excitable demeanor she attempted to deepen it. Daring to ever so slightly poke out her tongue to explore, her fingers lightly grasping in an attempt to pull him closer. However when it became even more heated she forced her lips to break away. Resting her forehead against his she was breathless and felt even less grounded. "Spencer-" Her voice trailed off in an apology, now she couldn't look at him. She was acting like she had thrown herself at him which really wasn't the case but it couldn't be helped.
Trying not to dwell on the matter, so not to worry him she closed off the distance between them and wrapped her arms around him. She didn't have to kiss him, she wouldn't scare him like that again but that didn't mean she didn't want to be close. She needed to be with him. She loved him. Even if it hurt. Krys couldn't even tell him how she felt. Even if she knew it was the thing she needed to avoid to keep from harming eiher of them. Sometimes, no, all of the time, things just didn't work out.

It felt so right for Reid. Like it had been what he had been waiting for all his life. The final piece of the puzzle. Is there a way to know your true love not only by sight but by kiss? Reid wasn't sure. all he knew is he never wanted the moment to end. As Krys forced the kiss to go deeper Reid let her with no hesitation, he was just glade that it was her that did it, confirming that she wanted to kiss him as much as he wanted to kiss her. Her tongue lead his in a solute dance that felt so right. Her hands felt warm against his face, and his hair felt like silk between his fingers.
The only thing was it ended all to soon. Krys pulled away but Reid wanted to keep going. Her voice was soft and to the untrained ear it might have sounded surprised, but Reid knew that she felt bad about it. But she had no reason to be, and he was going to try and make sure she knew that. He never wanted to let her go. He wanted to sit there holding her, kissing her, for the rest of his life. Which turned out not to be a problem because for once krys didn't pull away, she hugged herself around him and he loved it. He loved her. He put his arms around her back, and like before he started to rub it softly, again being careful not to hurt her. He would have been content if they sat there together and did nothing else. This was all that he wanted.
He wanted to say something, but found there was no need to. The silence was just as calming as if they spoke. There was no need to talk, and that was how it should have been. Reid shut his eyes and continued to rub her back. He hoped that maybe she would go to sleep now. That she might feel safe enough to finally get much needed sleep. Like wise with him. He needed to get up in the morning for work, and a good nights sleep might be a good idea, even though the night was almost over already. Reid knew that he felt like Krys was safe now. His feelings were finally out there, and that made his mind easy. As soon as he knew Krys was asleep he was going to go asleep as well, not a moment sooner though. He had to know she was okay first.

Though she was still against Spencer's chest, her arms loosely wrapped around his skinny frame, her heart was racing. She found it a miracle to be as still as she was when her organs were giving every hint that she had run a marathon. Did a kiss have so much power? Could a physical action really make you feel in such a way? Before she would have said no. Before this moment she would have denied it emphatically and yet now she did believe that love could be wonderful, for a split second she felt that it could be true. A small part of her wanted it to last while the rest of her knew it couldn't possibly. Not with her. She was never so lucky and Spencer probably hated her for reciprocating. Stupid, but for some reason Krys' twisted mind believed it.
She could hear his muffled heartbeat. Was he as nervous as she had been? Was he happy? Or was that how angry he was about the action? She just didn't know, but even exhausted she could dream. But oh gosh, what if they had done it because they were tired? Krys knew how she felt, though she wished to deny it to avoid the trouble and the hurt, but Spencer, he had looked tired as all and had confessed to not being able to sleep. What if it had been an accident? And as awful as it was... She wanted to do it again. Again and again and never stop.
To keep the urge to kiss him again she remained still, staring out into the darkness of the apartment as she stared outward at nothing in particular. Suddenly her eyelids felt heavy and she soon felt them closing coaxed on by Spencer gently rubbing her back. It felt so wonderful and for the first time in a few weeks, or perhaps since she was very little, she felt perfectly safe even with everything that had happened.
There it was again. Spencer's heart beat. Like the rythmic beating of a clock or a mother dog's to her puppies it eventually led Krys into slumber, her eyes closing as she fell asleep tucked against Spencer's side.

Reid didn't move other than the smooth gesture of his arms along Krys' back. He listened to her soft breathing though the dark apartment. As her breaths got slower and calmer Reid knew that she had fallen asleep finally. He looked down at her curled up against his body. Then his eyes wondered through the small room. There was no one there, nothing hiding the the shadows. Smiling to himself that he even had to look he closed his eyes again, continuing the rub her back until he was asleep. His thoughts wondered for several minutes before that time came. He thought about the kiss, and the feeling of her body against his. Yet there was still doubt in his mind that she meant to do what she did by kissing him back. After all she was so tired that she could barely walk. But something else told him that it was a clear cut, that there was no reason to deny his feeling any more.
Again Oliver's words echoed through his head. Maybe it could be that easy? Maybe the risk was as great as the cost. It seemed that way to Reid in that moment. This would change everything. There was no way Krys could deny what had happened, or some how push it off on herself. And once he thought she was okay he would tell her how he felt. That he loved her. And show her that it was real. That something good happen to her. That she wasn't cursed or ugly, or broken. whatever she thought she was. And when that moment came he would be whole for once. There was nothing that could stop him now. he knew that Oliver had been right, and he thanked the other man for breaking up with her and for telling him what to do.
With that happy thought Reid fell into a soft sleep. For the first time in two weeks he had a happy dream. It was a dream of what his life would be like with Krys. Playing old video games, eating food that no one should, and laughing over random facts that had nothing to with anything. How happy she would be for once, like the first time they meet each other and went to the arcade. She would forget about her dad, and Reid would make sure she was never hurt again. And they would live happily ever after. If only Reid could see the what the future had in store.

Krys Robin had finally 'clonked out' like a young child who had spent too much time at the mall for a day. Her head lulled against his chest in her slumber, pale hands clutching lightly to the fabric on his chest even as it rose and fell with his every breath. In a way it was like being rocked to sleep, and it made Krys feel safe, along with his arm wrapped lightly around her frame. No one could harm her, not while Spencer was around. He never let anything bad happen.
Curled up against him she didn't exactly snore but her breaths were far different than the ones she usually had awake. They were more audible for one. Her hands slowly began to loosen on the fabric of his clothes but never fully let go, though if Spencer wished to remove them he could and very easily at that. Lately the darkness had scared her, by closing her own eyes she was forced to see a blackness much like the one provided by Gerald's blindfold, but not this time. This time she was just far too tired. But at least now she could rest.
The next morning Matt couldn't help but notice that Krys was late for their visit. Concern had over taken him, much like a father or worried brother, and he had rushed to her hotel only to find that she wasn't there. Initially he was scared, his heart raced as he went through all of the possibilities of where she could have gone until finally he arrived at one conclusion: Spencer Reid.
For most everyone else this would have been difficult to find a location but Matt had Hayley and despite her protests she eventually gave in, for she was worried about Krys too, and soon Matt was at Spencer's door and judging by who was approaching, he wasn't the only one who had that idea. Striding forward was BAU team member Derek Morgan, looking just as pressed for time.
"Robin too." He was a man of few words but those two conveyed his worries and he realized that Derek would know what he meant. Without even waiting he raised his fist and banged eagerly on the door. "REID. OPEN UP." He was impatient already and he didn't plan on waiting, not if there was a risk on the data analyst's life. "I mean it kid. Open up now!"
At the muffled yells in the hallway Krys murmured some inaudible little whimpered phrase, trying desperately not to wake up as she shifted against Spencer's chest. Somehow during the night she had managed not to stir and remained against his chest though her body was far more relaxed. Brown strands of hair fell in front of her face but she made no attempt to move them, eyes still closed.

Reid sleep had been a good one, short but good. He was so tired that he didn't even hear the faint sound of his alarm in the other room going off when he should have gotten up to get ready for work. He wasn't even thinking of work. For the first time in almost a month he was actually sleeping. What was even better was so was Krys, she hadn't stirred once in the night from a nightmare. Both of them were peacefully sleeping.
That was until Matt decided it was time to wake them up. The knocking quickly reached Reid and when it just sounded like muffled noise to Krys it sounded like it was right in front of Reid. His eyes flew open and he jumped. He looked around the small apartment trying to figure out what was going on. Krys was sound asleep on his chest, light was flooding in through the windows, and Matt's voice echoed through the door. Reid's eyes slowly found there way to the clock above the TV. He was late for work! He sat straight up, and wiggled out from under Krys in a panic now. What was he going to do?
"I mean it kid. Open up now!" Opening the door might have been a good idea. Before Matt kicked it down at least. Reid's eyes wondered to Krys still lying asleep on the couch. He knew he should wake her, but he couldn't find it in him. She looked so peaceful asleep, something that Reid knew she hadn't had a lot of recently. Deciding if Matt really wanted her to wake up he could do it. Half running to the door, half trying to make himself look some what presentable to the other man by rubbing his hand through his knotted hair. He was well ware of his navy blue pj pants and white t-shirt. He hated to have to have Matt see him like this. "One second..." Reid said just loud enough that Matt would hear him through the door. As fast as he could Reid unlocked the door and opened it. Seeing Morgan and Matt on the other end. "Um... Be quite... Krys is still asleep." Was the only thing he could think of saying. It was odd that he felt like the one doing something wrong while Matt was there trying to knock his door down.

"NOW REID." Matt's knuckled morphed into his entire hand smacking against the door in hope of rushing Spencer along. He didn't like the idea of the mere notion of Krys being in there with the young man. Matt couldn't help it, he was protective. He would have acted the same way with any of the people on his team, though to varying degrees. Currently he resembled a protective brother of father figure the way he didn't mind he was making a scene in the hallway despite being a soft spoken individual.
When the door opened little relief was provided as his dark, angry eyes saw Spencer's appearance and barely heard his words. So she *was* here and this kid was in his pajamas. She had slept over? Instantly something less than desirable clicked in the agent's brain and he managed to back Spencer into the wall of his apartment, baradding his way in to the young man's home.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Matt demanded, still unaware of Krys on the couch even though Spencer had blatantly pointed it out. Poor kid didn't stand a chance, Matt was a great deal bigger afterall. "What the hell posessed you to..." His voice trailed off, finally glancing over his shoulder he saw Krys, all curled up on the couch fast asleep. His gaze instantly softened like he had been about to pummel someone but then had a newborn infant shoved into his face.
"She's sleeping..." His voice was quiet as he finally stepped away from his intimidating cornering of Spencer instead daring to take two careful steps toward the couch but stopping himself. Matt, though sometimes scary, could be an adoring man, even hesitant at times. "You got her to sleep." He couldn't hide the awe in his voice. Maybe this had been completely innocent. Maybe his instincts were off. Maybe this Spencer was just a nice guy and actually not interested in Krys.
"Thank you." Matt's eyes turned to the man, a look of genuine, though subdued, appreciation. "I've uh..." His hand rubbed the back of his neck, an awkward habit of his. "I've got to get her back to the hotel in case her family comes to visit. So I kind of have to... Wake her up..." His voice trailed off.

Reid stumbled back against the wall a little to easy. He was still tired and not completely awake just yet. He could have been knocked over by the wind if he had been outside. His eyes were wide as Matthew came at him. He wasn't sure what he thought he was doing. Or what he thought had happened. As the older man spoke Reid started to get the feeling that Matt thought Reid had "done something" to Krys. Reid felt his stomach drop a little, understanding what he thought had happened. After all Krys had stayed the night at his house... Reid couldn't think about that know. He was to afraid that Matt's shouting was going to wake Krys up. And that was the one thing Reid didn't want. Reid would have much rather Matt beat the crap out of him for no reason then have Krys woken.
Then Suddenly Matt's voice got quiet as he saw the sleeping girl. This gave Reid a chance to get his mind together. breathing more normal, and clear minded he stepped into the apartment shutting the front door. "Yes I know." He answered to Matt's realization that Krys was asleep. His voice wasn't very friendly but who would have blamed him. He had told Matt that she was asleep before he "let" him in. When Matt thanked Reid for getting her to sleep any anger he had for the man disappeared. They were all stressed. Sighing he said, "She just needed to feel safe..." he wasn't sure if the words would make Grimaldi think something else had happened or not. But he didn't care because he knew nothing had and that was all that mattered. There was the kiss, but that wasn't anything big at all.
When Matt said he had to wake Kyrs Reid didn't like the idea. Moving between Krys and Matt, to protect her from him actually trying Reid said, "She only got like 5 hours of sleep." The same amount as him. And that wasn't near enough to help with the little sleep she had gotten over the last few weeks. Reid was afraid that if she woke up then she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep again. Though he knew the secret to it now. "Can't you let her sleep a little more... I mean her family hasn't cared much for her in the past, why should her comfort be jeopardized for them, again?" He asked knowing just who harsh he sounded. But in a way he was true. Kyrs' life had been able pleasing a family that didn't care, the only one that did truly love Krys was Keith, and a little pit of Laura. But other than that the rest wouldn't go and see her if they had had a choose about it.

Matt watched Krys quietly for a moment. Most would have dubbed him insane going by his behavior but some things just couldn't be helped. You couldn't help how you felt about someone and Matt cared deeply for this young woman. Whether he did so genuinely or because he felt obligated to could be left up to debate, but the bottom line was that he did. It was clear by the look in his eyes as he watched her from a distance. How he purposely kept away trying not to stir her even though he knew he had to wake her to get her back. Like a doting dad.
"Safe?" He blinked and now looked to the young man. "No offense kid but you're not all that safe looking." Matt wasn't one to pick on someone about appearances but they had half the Bureau watching out for Krys, guys who actually worked out once in a while. Spencer Reid wasn't exactly a macho man so how exactly would Krys feel 'safe' with him? He sighed and then took another few steps toward the young woman, right by the couch now and Krys didn't give much more of an acknowledgment other than a slight shift and curling up of her body. But of course, Spencer had to go and challenge him. Where did he get off?
"You're out of line Doctor Reid." Matt responded flatly. So the boy cared. They all cared, it was undeniable. It was like an illness, a virus spreading through everyone Krys knew. There was no explaining it. But Matt didn't enjoy being questioned, let alone by the young man in front of him. "And don't speak about things you know nothing about." Turning back to look down at Krys he let out a sigh, shaking his head. "I used to think the same as you Doctor Reid, but there are some things that are just beyond our understanding. Leave it at that."
Quietly he moved down into a kneeling position by the couch, reaching out his large hand to touch Krys' shoulder surprisingly gentle. "Robin." His voice was gruff, yet soft. She didn't react at first. "Krys." This time without opening her eyes she let out a soft, breathy whimper which caused Matt to smile a bit at her childlike tiredness though he appeared just as tired. "Come on kiddo, we've got to get you back to the hotel." She let out a soft whimper and shook her head, burrying it in the cushion which caused a shake of the agent's own head before he shifted a bit now both hands helping to lift her into a sitting position.
"Come on." Krys' head rested on Matt's shoulder obviously very out of it or very stubborn. Matt held her up gently but suddenly felt very awkward. He should have thought this over before he did anything. Hayley would have known what to do. She was one of those touchy feely sorts.

Reid hadn't shown up for work.
In light of recent events - anthrax, a virus, and a kidnapper, added to the kid's ability to stand in the face of danger and scream 'Please take me, I'm up for grabs', Morgan had made it his personal duty to storm the younger agent's apartment. It wasn't like the genius to be late - unless he really had gotten himself into some sort of trouble, in which case, Morgan was going to be very, very pissed.
After all, it had been entire days without Reid being in danger, and Morgan would appreciate if they could keep up the record.
He expected anything and everything - it was impossible not to when Reid was being Reid. What he didn't expect was to see Matthew Grimaldi walking up to the BAU agent's door. If he'd made a bet, he would've lost it.
"Robin too."
While the older agent looked a few degrees of angry, his words gave Morgan relief. It wasn't a case of Reid being in danger, then. But - it was morning, and was it really possible that Krys had stayed the night?
Knowing Dr. Reid as Morgan did, he would say that they were completly, and totally, innocent.
In fact, he would have bet all four of his houses on it.
"Come on, Reid - your door's going to end up coming down." Morgan said into the door of the younger agent's apartment. He knew that it was totally possible that the CT agent was going to burst down the door.
What greeted them when he did open the door was a miracle.
Morgan knew that the technical analyst hadn't been the same ever since her kidnapping. She hadn't been sleeping, for one - he'd seen the same symptoms in Reid after his kidnappnig by Tobias Henkel.
But she was sleeping now. And by the looks of him, so had Reid.
There was a grin apparent in Morgan's eyes. "You're late for work, kid." He told him, shaking his head slightly. They'd talk about this later, and Reid was probably well aware of that.

Reid hadn't the time to worry about Morgan at that moment. He knew was late to work, and that he probably scared everyone half to death by doing so. But he also knew that Morgan, and even Hotch, would understand. He would promise to never do it again, and he wouldn;t. and they would let it go. The thing he was worried about was what Morgan thought about the whole situation. He knew what Matt was thinking, but wasn't sure if Morgan thought the same way or not. And if he did it was probably in a "you go brother" kind of way instead of Matt's fatherly reaction. But either way Reid didn't want people to think of it that way, to think of Krys like that, or even him. Even if it had happened it was none of their business.
Reid knew Matt's words were right. He was no macho man. But you didn't need to be big and strong to protect someone. Looking Matt square in the face he said, "Sometimes it takes more than just muscles to make someone feel safe. Sometimes words can help to..." he wished he could explain it better. But he wasn't even to sure about it. All her knew was that when you cared for someone they made you feel safer. It was the same way with Krys for Reid. By no means could she protect him in a fight, but he still felt safe around her. It was just the way it was.
Looking at Matt he knew he was being stupid for trying to stand up to him. He also knew that he didn't understand all about Krys' family. But what he also knew was neither did Matt. And one thing Matt seemed to miss was the emotional strain that her last had on her. How even to this day she was scared of her family, even if she never said it. Reid could tell. And because of what her father had done she didn't trust herself. She thought she was a failure in every way. That she wasn't good enough. And until she was able to actually do something for herself, like sleep in with out the worry of making her family mad, she wasn't ever going to realize that she was wrong. But Reid could tell any of this to Matt. Krys had said most of it in a delirious tired state and Spencer knew she wouldn't like he repeating what he had learned that night to anyone, not even Matthew.
So he didn't protest any more when Matt bent down to wake her. He did however give Morgan a look that asked for some help. But he knew that the other agent wouldn't listen to anyone, it didn't mattered who it was. What Krys didn't wake up right away and Matt started to look helpless Reid figure he might as well try and help some. Even if waking Krys up with the last thing he wanted to do. Sitting half on the couch, next to Matt on the floor, he put a soft hand on her shoulder, not caring if Matt didn't like the action, or Morgan "got the wrong idea" (Though it was true). "Krys.... Sorry but you have to wake up..." He said his voice soft and loving. "You can go back to sleep at your place, okay?" he added pushing some of her messy hair behind her ear and out of her face, which Reid found increasingly beautiful.

It was true Matthew felt odd kneeling there with Krys' head on his shoulder, it felt foreign but that wasn't to say that deep down a little part of him didn't enjoy it. It was nice to be needed once in a while without a gun in your hand or a building burning in the background. It was the simple moments of waking up someone that you cared about on the rare occasions that they happened, that really mattered. Even if he did feel incredibly awkward doing so. Still his hand lightly rested on her back, though firm enough to keep the young woman from falling over.
"Robin..." His voice trailed off, not having much luck but not wanting to spook her. That's when he saw Spencer slide into view. Matt hated to admit it but he actually seemed to care about Krys and it seemed, by the looks of things of her on the couch, that nothing had transpired of the sexual nature which was a relief, but not something he was about to apologize for (being incorrect anyways).
"Krys.... Sorry but you have to wake up..." He said his voice soft and loving. "You can go back to sleep at your place, okay?"
Krys let out another quiet murmur though she stirred a bit more, turning her head in the direction of Spencer's voice on Matt's shoulder. The coaxing was certainly helping in waking her up and after a few moments she dragged herself into a sitting up position, lazily rubbing her eyes which were yet to open, mumuring something inaudible under her breath her body threatened to slump back and go right to sleep again if it had not been for Matt's hand carefully holding onto her arm protectively.
Matt now took initiative to speak up, if only not to let her doze off again let alone spend any more time around this young man's apartment. "I'm sorry kiddo but we have to get you back to the hotel. Lots of people are worried about you." He told her quietly before trying to move her to her feet. "Come on. There we are. 1-2-3." And with a grunt he managed to pull her right up, Matt was surprisingly strong beneath the jeans and shirts that he wore.
His hands moved to either side of her upper shoulders holding her onto her feet as her head lulled tiredly to one side as she began to wake up, though her eyes could barely stay open. Glancing over his shoulder he looked to Spencer and then Derek (a man he respected more than the poor genius). "Ya think she'll fall asleep back at the hotel?" It seemed to be a given seeing as how she could barely stand.

Reid didn't mind seeing Matt holding Krys. Unlike some people he wasn't jealous of other people, other men, being around the one he loved. He knew that Krys wasn't interested in any of them, and if she was he would be fine with that. But the main thing about Matt was he was more of a father figure to her than anything else. Reid knew this, and respected it. Even if sometimes he didn't agree with the other man. In some ways Reid disliked him for the way he treated Krys, like most fathers you gave to have a little tough love, but other times, like now, Reid could see the true care he had for her and couldn't find a reason to not like him. He was just being who he was.
Reid let Matt coax her the rest of the way up as he watched, and added a few helping hands in when it was needed. He found watching the woman wake up was like watching a young child. She was so much like one that Reid could see why Matt was like a father for a moment. Reid lightly helped pull her up into a sitting position when he saw she was trying to move, and was relived that she wasn't waking up all the way. That made it a great possibility that she would be able to fall asleep out side of his apartment. Which was the one reason Reid hadn't wanted her to leave anyway. It wasn't like he was going to be in the apartment anyway, he had to go to work. He would have liked to have knew she was safely hidden away, sound asleep, on his couch though. He knew Matt would keep her safe, however.
When Matt asked if "he" thought she would sleep in her hotel room or not Reid had his doubts. He knew that a lot of fear had been taken away from her in the night, but he wasn't sure if that would help her sleep there, without him. Maybe he was just being selfish, but it seemed to Spencer that he was the reason that she felt safe enough to sleep, and he was sure what she would do once that safety was taken away. If it would make a difference or not. Reid answered the question with, whether Matt had been talking to him or not, "I don't think she will make it out the door." It was true, and kind of his hope. But at the same time not the whole truth. He wasn't going to undermine the other agent again though.

Matt, while standing in front of Reid, glanced over his shoulder at Krys. Poor girl had her eyes half closed in a stubborn attempt not to open them and was basically swaying on the balls of her feet. Poor girl looked exhausted and Matt instantly felt pity. It wasn't hard to draw that sort of reaction from him, but it was quite another thing entirely to get him to go against his stubborn ways. Krys, Tess, and Hayley were three people who posessed that power. Them and children of course. Matthew had always had a soft spot for little ones.
"She's barely staying up as is." He murmured quietly, a hint of worry in his own tired voice before he made his way back to Krys, his hands reaching out to gently grasp her arms giving her a light, single shake. "Come on kiddo." He tried to coax which managed to get Krys' tired brown eyes to flicker open briefly, though it was quite evident from the glazed over look in her eye that she was practically dead to the world. Still gently holding her, some protectiveness still evident in his posture, he turned his gaze onto Spencer.
"We can't leave her here. No one will be around." Matt hoped that this boy genius would understand his 'argument' he didn't need any further resistance. "And her family can't come here." That would be the selling point. Matthew wasn't exactly a fan of the Robin family, hell, anyone with half a brain wouldn't be... Though he did feel pity for the children. Poor kids. Crappy hand they were dealt, they were dealing as best as they could. That was when he heard a gasp from behind him.
Krys' eyes had opened and she seemed to be panicking, widened eyes glancing about obviously not realizing where she was (as it hadn't clicked). Her breathing had quickened and she seemed prone to panic searching for a familiar face though she was glancing around so quickly that she couldn't have seen anyone if she tried. Matt kicked into 'dad' mode and moved toward her a few steps at first but she instantly retracted.
"Robin.." She stumbled backwards nearly falling over which caused Matt to raise his hands in a careful, haulting gesture. He didn't know what to do. Why was she so scared? Didn't she recognize him? He didn't realize post traumatic stress let alone being woken up with people around you could spook just about anyone. "Kiddo. Come on now... It's Matt. You know me, don'tchya?"

Morgan wasn't sure of what to do in the situation at hand. It wasn't possibly, quite obviously, for them to leave the CT's technical analyst by herself, but it also wasn't feasible for her to stay here. Reid had been through a similiar situation, Morgan knew, after he'd been taken by Tobias - it had been touch and go for quite awhile.
He met the younger agent's eyes, giving him the go ahead to do whatever was needed in the situation. If there was something that could be done for Krys that Reid could do, Morgan was giving him the go-ahead to do it. He knew that they had to get back to work - at any minute, a case could be presented - but if there was something, possibly, that was able to be done, Morgan wanted Reid to do it. Krys reminded him of one of his own sisters, and with Reid obviously having feelings for her, that was what he considered her. He was thankful - Krys wasn't going to be the girl to break Reid's heart (or so he hoped), like some of the girls that Morgan knew. He protected Reid as if he were family, and that translated into him protecting Krys as well.
