Lily felt sick to her stomach and her whole body was trembling with fear. Where was she? Where had they taken her? Who were they and where was Krys? The questions were spinning around in her head like clothes in a dryer. She could neither see or speak. She was blindfolded and gagged. Her hands were tied behind her back but her feet was free.
Just a few hours ago, her mother, Claire, had left Krys in charge of the house while she was going out. Lily had looked forward to this day ever since they had told her in the resteraunt that she would spend the day with Krys. They had played soccer in the front yard but then Lily had gotten thirsty and she had been told to either come with Krys in and get something to drink or stay in the front yard and wait for her babysitter to come out with the glass. She had decided to wait for Krys outside. As she had been trying to bounce the ball in the grass a few times, a man had snuck up behind her and covered her mouth and nose with a white cloth, with something on, that smelled sweet but at the same time a little rotten(chloroform). Lily had struggled to try and get away and call for Krys, but without success. It hadn't taken long before she had begun to feel woozy and her vision gotten blurry. The last image she remember seeing was Krys running out from the front door and a dark blurry figure approaching her babysitter. Lily must have been lying down because everything was seen from a very low hight. Then everything had gone black for her.
It was still black for the four year old, but her hearing was normal again and not as dull as it had been right before she had passed out. Lily was sat in a corner for sure. If it was a room or a truck or anything else, she wasn't sure. What she was sure of however, was that she wasn't alone. Someone on her right had tuned in on her sobs only a few minutes after her breath had turned into sobs. On her left, she felt someone lying by her feet. Probably an adult. Dead or alive? Lily had no idea. Whoever it was, that person wasn't moving.
Heavy, approaching steps was heard and Lily tried hard to sit as still as possible but with her heart pounding in her chest and her body trembling, it wasn't easy. The man ungagged her and removed her blindfold. As he did so he accidently pulled a hair which made her wince in pain. Or did he do that on purpose? Lily whimpered and stared at the dark haired man. Never had she been this scared in her entire life. Never! Krys lay unconscious by Lily's feet and on her right was a little boy who she recognized but didn't know. He couldn't be older than herself and he looked as scared as she was. Lily's eyes fell back on motionless Krys on the floor. Was she dead? "Krys...?" Lily whimpered as soon as the man and left the room. The room they were in had no windows, no furniture and no lights. It was dark and cold and the floor was made of concrete. It kind of looked like a basement, only smaller. The smell was bad too. It probably came from the old, rusty pipes on the other side on the wall. "Krys wake up..." This time Lily's voice was barely audible and tears stung her eyes. As the boy cried louder, Lily did too. She wanted her mommy...

Krys laid on the floor in the dark room, obviously unconcious. Her brown hair a mess from the struggle when the man had dared to fight her when he pulled Lily's lifeless body away. It honestly wasn't a fair match, Krys was only 5'3 and not horribly strong, though she was stubborn and kept up the retaliation as long as she could. Next thing she knew she had knocked the napkin the kidnapper had been trying to force onto her face to the grassy ground and then recieved a firm klunk upside the head which caused her to collapse and sent her into darkness.
Babysitting wasn't supposed to be this hard.
Her face pressed against the floor, her eyes closed, her back barely rose and fell. She wasn't in immense pain, though she did have a slight headache. Slowly she began to come back to the waking world, though her eyes didn't open. The murmur and cries of Lily's voice helping to usher her back. A soft moan in response came from her throat and with a cringe she moved her face to the floor, her arms raising as she tried to push herself up. Initially her body didn't seem to want to co-operate.
"I'm up. I'm up." She murmured with a grunt, finally now in a sitting up position as she ran her hands through her hair and cringed slightly at the contact. Why did people always have to hit so hard? Krys had experienced a lot of pain in her life both emotional and physical and enough to give anyone nightmares but never in her life had she been hit in the head! Well, now it seemed things were evening out.
With that thought and the sound of a small child crying, she blinked and instantly her brown eyes moved onto Lily. "Lils. You alright?" Krys didn't give a second though to how she personally was doing because she always found her life trivial. She was of little importance and easily expendible if the need arose. People would not miss her, they would miss the work that she could do but not her specifically.
Shifting a bit on her bum with a grunt she ran her hand once again over the top of her head. "Where are we?" The sound of a little boy crying brought her back to the scene, her brown eyes falling upon Jack, also finding that he looked familiar (she had hacked a lot of files in her time). "Hey now..." The data analyst began quietly, doing her best to get the panicked child's attention. She immediately crawled over to him in an attempt to get the crying to stop. For one she hated seeing people in pain and two it was making her headache worse, though she would never voice that.
"It'll be alright." She offered with a half smile pulling at the corner of her lips. "Say..." Her brown eyes brightened with an idea and she thrust her hand into her pocket pulling out an unopened bag of M&Ms: her favorite candy. "Want a snack?" It was the only thing the analyst could think to offer even though it was futile. She knew he'd probably be too upset to eat, even so she had to try. Whoever he was... "Did you know that the blue M&M wasn't always part of the color group?" She offered her own little fact. Lots of young ones didn't know this, they took the blue M&M for granted, so Krys took it upon herself to inform them as she handed out four M&ms for the boy to take.

He'd been looking at this one for awhile. Everything about the five year old was perfect: hair, size, his smile. Upon capture, he'd found the boy's eyes to be perfect, too. This boy looked like Jamie: he was Jamie.
he'd first seen him on a trip down to Virginia a month ago, playing outside his house. his smile had been captivating. But no, the appropriate greiving time for the last two had to be observed. Three months was the appropriate time, and it had only been two. He'd noted the house number and made a promise to come back. He wouldn't let Jamie die. The cycle would start again soon.
When the grieving period had been observed, he made the trip back o that same town. His SUV's New York plates wouldn't be out of place there, it was a large town.
The boy was alone outside, no mommy or daddy in sight. Didn't these parents care for the children? He'd cared so much for Jamie and Lexie, he'd do anything to get her back: which he ddid, with every pair of children that he got. Obviously, these parents didn't care for the boy that'd become little Jamie.
Poor Jamie. Poor Lexie. They'd been so young. he'd not said his goodbyes.
He'd left no evidence he knew of. One moment, the boy was in his front yard, the next he wasn't. After a month, he finally had him. Mommy wouldn't notice until he was long gone, nobody would notice that these liscence plates had been here before, because they hadn't: after every greiving period, he changed the liscence plates, which meant that with every new pair of children that were taken, he'd have new plates. He'd changed them again when he got home.
With the new Jamie in his car, he began to head toawrds home: a small Long Island town where he kept himself an invisible presence. This was his business, not theirs. This new town was similiar to the last three he'd been in, each Long Island town new for each pair of Jamies and Lexies.
"You're going to love your life, little Jamie." He said as he drove forward through state lines. Unfortunatly for him, he had to go through New York City. He didn't like big cities; there were people there who might notice him. But his car wasn't abnormal in this city, nor were his plates. Nobody would have a reason to recall his car.
It was somewhere in New York City that he'd seen her. Normally, he brought the Jamie home before finding a Lexie. But when he saw her, playing soccer in her yard, he knew. She was a perfect Lexie. he had to. He felt the itch that he knew so well.
He had to get this girl.
There was only one problem:
there was someone with her. This little girl wasn't being left alone to her own accord, like the Jamie was. But, as he looked at the older woman that went inside the house with the boy, he saw a familiar spark.
This woman looked like her. The her, the only woman he'd ever loved. The woman that had died in the crash that had taken his kids. The mother of his children.
Yes, she looked like her.
He could take her. He could take her with them, with the Jamie and Lexie, and then their family would really be complete. He knew, though, better to think that it could last. It could never last. Jamie and Lexie always had to die, and if he took her, this new MarieAnn would have to die as well. But maybe, he thought as a tiny bit of hope itched in him, she wouldn't have to. Maybe there'd be a way around it.
His head seemed to explode with the possibilities.
It was her fault, after all. She'd taken them out for ice cream, and they'd died. But it wasn't her fault, because she couldn't control it.
But it was.
And so, with frenzied thoughts dancing in his head, he decided to take her. To take this new MarieAnn and Lexie. It'd been a bit more difficult to capture the grown woman, but he'd done it. Because it was fate. Because the cycle had to continue, as it always did.
He sat before them now, his new family, in the basement of their new home, as they slowly woke up. The little girl woke first, then the little boy, and finally, the woman. The newest addition. He'd never had one of her before.
"Good morning."

When Krys groaned and came back to life, a wave of relief washed over Lily's body. Her babysitter /friend was not dead! If she could she would have thrown herself into Krys' arms and probably buried her head into one of Krys shoulders to seek solace, but her hands were still tied behind her back for some strange reason so she couldn't. Why had the mean man tied her hands together? What was he afraid of? She would not go anywhere. Lily didn't understand.
She didn't know what to answer to Krys' question about whether she was okay or not. Trying to get her hands free, she had to stop only seconds later since the rope carved marks into her skin. The rope hurt her wrists, she had no idea where she was, she was scared half to death, and her mother wasn't there to tell her it was all going to be okay. No, she wasn't even near alright. She would have been if they still had been at home and playing in the front yard.
"Mommy..." Lily lowered her head in failure from getting loose from the rope, so that her long, blonde, tousled hair fell into her face, like a shield from the others. Krys had crawled over to the little unknown boy, a few feet from Lily. He looked awfully scared but who could blame him? She was scared too. All of them probably were. Throughout her own sobs, she could still hear the boy's as krys tried to console him. Normally, Lily liked M&M's but not today. She wasn't interested, but then again, she hadn't been asked if she wanted one either.
The door opened and let a ray of light seek it's way into the dark room. The man, probably the same man who had taken them, walked in with confident steps. Having long hair could be a good thing sometimes. Lily hid behind her hair, afraid to look up at him as he greeted them with a sarcastic 'good morning'. Or was it even sarcastic? Lily didn't even know the definition of sarcastic. It was as if she had lost her ability to speak. She opened her mouth but no sound came out. Instead she stared at the ground, only giving away a few, low, whimpering sounds, and hoping that he wouldn't notice she was trembling.

Her head hurt. It hurt something awful but she did her best to tend to the little boy who cried his name to her and held onto her for dear life. "Jack." She repeated quietly taking in his first and last name as her arms went around him awkwardly. Usually she wasn't any good with people showing affection toward her (she was okay when she intitiated it but when someone else did she was at a loss) but kids never seemed to bother her, probably because any harm that ever came to her was always from adults.
Little Jack was trembling in her arms and Krys found her right hand going to the back of his head, resting there softly before she managed to pull her head and get a good look at him. Those eyes, she had seen them before but with a much more serious and stoic aire. But where? Slowly it was all coming together, why the little boy looked familiar. Krys had hacked into the BAU files enough times to know, enough times to be sure. "As in Jack Hotchner?" She questioned and the boy gave a sniffle and a nod accompanied by a 'you know my daddy?'.
Her heart sank. Last thing she wanted was a man who she looked up to worrying about his little boy. But on the other side of things this could be a good turn of events! Surely with a missing agent's child everyone would be called (Krys stupidly didn't think they would be looking for her, their own data analyst). No one would miss her, at least by her own accounts, but she would certainly miss everyone else. One in particular. Reid. Oh god, Spencer. What would he do? Who was going to drag him to arcades? Who would make him do things that he claimed to not want to do? Who would look out for him? She tried her best to quell these thoughts because they certainly weren't helping her worried state any.
Looking to Lily she gave an apologetic look, trying so very hard to be helpful. "Well..." Briefly she looked down to the untouched M&Ms and then shoved them back into the brown bag. "Maybe later then..." And reaching outward she began to untie the small child.
"Good morning."
Her neck snapped around. Krys should have known better, as an analyst not act on instinct, but she was a passionate person and very protective of her friends, and she didn't like the thought of Lily and little Jack being in danger. She also wasn't a profiler, she was Counter Terror so she had no knowledge or understanding of serial killers (or even if this man was one, he could have just wanted money). So, up on her feet she went and approached the much larger man, without thinking, which seemed to be her style lately.
"You let them go right now." She demanded. There would be no swapping of pleasantries on her part. Eyes narrowed she glared at the man harshly, not backing down though her head was throbbing. The only thing on her mind now was getting Lily and Jack back to their respective homes.

Lily rubbed her right wrist with her left hand as soon as Krys had untied her. There was a few marks from the rope for sure but that didn't bother her. What bothered her now was the unknown man staring at them. What does he want? Lily wondered. Trying to controle her trembling body. She may be four years old but she had a mind like a 8-10 year old and she wasn't stupid. This man would obviously want something or maybe he was a plain psychopath. Either way, there were many reasons to be scared of him and do as she was being told, if she ever wanted to see her mother again.
Lily got snapped out of her thoughts as Krys flew up and started to shout at the man. Staring at her babysitter with wide open blue eyes, her heart skipped a beat or two. How would he react to that? Would he hurt Krys infront of her and the little boy? Lily crawled back as much as she could before the wall stopped her. Pulling her knees up to her cheeks, she hid her face behind the palms of her hands. She couldn't watch this. Maybe he wouldn't do anything but who knew?

He couldn't help the rush of pure happiness he felt upon seeing the two children he'd taken. They were so much like his own had been. No, they were more: they were his own. The line of distinction faded and blurred even more, becoming indestinct.
The reaction to the good morning to his family was unexpected: in prior cases, children had cried or said good morning back, some not spoken at all. This was what having the new MarieAnn entailed, a new addition to the fantasy of having his family back, but it hurt to have her yell at him. Perhaps she didn't understand yet, children were always easier to explain things like this to. If she didn't understand, he would have to explain to her exactly why they were back here. They'd been gone for so long, after all.
He felt as if they had died.
Her words stung, and genuine surprise and confusion seemed to cloud his eyes for a moment before he began to explain. "Why would I do that, MarieAnn? You're all my family, just like before. I'm sorry about that accident. I shouldn't have let you go." He offered a smile. "But now, you, Jamie, and Lexie and I can all be together again. Maybe in a week we can go get ice cream. This time I'll go with you. We don't want any mishaps like last time." With the last word, he reached out and touched Krys' nose, like he'd done with MarieAnn.

Krys' lips slightly parted in confusion and surprise when the man didn't even budge. To the contrary he was rather calm and referred to her by the name 'MarieAnn'. Why would he do that? Krys wasn't a profiler like the individuals at the BAU and her data analysis pertained to CT, mainly locations, components, but never people. This was something she didn't understand and it was certainly something she didn't like. And Krys was somewhat socially awkward as is, she lacked the common sense to know how to react in this situation especially when there were two children that she cared about involved.
At first she couldn't even say anything, just look at the insane man like he was crazy (and he probably was). Brown doe's eyes seemed to sparkle with what looked like nerves in a sudden faultering of her own confidence but the kicker was when their capter reached out to lightly touch her nose. Now, from her past Krys was very hypocritical and only let most people be touched by her, not an initiation the other way around but this strange man was touching her in a way that made her nervous. So she reacted as such.
"Stop it!" Her eyes closed and her entire body tensed, her hands practically in fists from just the most minimal of touches. She took a few sudden steps back, recoiling from what seemed to be an innocent touch, like with what one might do with a loved one. Be that as it may, Krys didn't like it. Not one bit. "My name is Krys." MarieAnn. Who was that? Krys didn't like that name one bit. Too many sylables, too formal and prissy. It didn't fit her at all. Whoah! What was she thinking? No, that was not her name!
Swallowing she looked over at Lily and Jack who were hovering and trembling in fear. No, she had to get them out of here. If they were lucky maybe this psycho would leave the room. The only escape route was a boarded up window in the dingy basement but by the looks of things there would be absolutely no way that they could pry off the wood with just Krys. Little children, though swell, would not aid the matter in the slightest.
"I want my daddy!" Little Jack cried out, thinking of his father being the hero that he was to the little boy. Krys blinked, startled by the sudden cry out and glanced over her shoulder. Cursing under her breath at the man (Gerald) she then hurried over to Jack using the only thing she had, her sleeve, and attempting to wipe his tears. Krys felt much like crying herself by this point because she was at a total loss of what to do. She couldn't make these kids feel better, she couldn't make people smile, she couldn't get them out of here. She couldn't do much of anything.

Little Jack cried as Krys came over and dabbed his eyes with her sleeve. He sniffled, gulping as he began to cry out for his father. His body trembled as he saw the man near him, biting his lip to keep from shouting. The brunette next to him seemed okay, but he was still unsure if he could trust her. He wiped his eyes with his hands, not because he wanted to rid himself of them, but only because he couldn't see anymore.
Harsh, warm human tears cascaded down Jack's cheeks, his body shaking from fear and sorrow. He hung his head down and cried louder, salty droplets forming in his eyes and falling to the ground in a melancholy. The boy shouted, beating his hands onto the floor. "I want daddy!"
His voice crackled through his sniffles and cries, turning around to find comfort in the thing closest to him, which in this case was Krys. he hung onto her, crying loudly and glaring at the man with his dark eyes. "My daddy will come and look for me..." he sobbed, his eyes cold and hard as he stared at the man, hiding back the fear he so much wanted to release.

MarieAnn, Jamie...Lexie. Lexie. Those names rang out in Lily's mind. Who were these people and why did he call Krys for MarieAnn when it wasn't her name?
Lily sniffled and peeked through her fingers. She didn't like this guy, even though he seemed pretty nice when he talked to them. Lily had to remind herself that he had made her faint somehow and that he had taken her away from her mommy. "My name is not Lexie!" Lily burst out once she had figured out that that's what he'd called her. "...and I want my mommy." She finshed off, glaring angrily at the man, hot tears of fear and fury streaming down her face. Normally she was a shy little girl but seeing Krys yelling at the man earlier, made her feel more confident. Besides, she wanted to get into the consoling arms of her mother, now. She hadn't felt this alone (although, she wasn't) since her father left for work one day and never came back. What if this man, whoever he was, wasn't going to bring her back to her mother. It hadn't sound like it was a part of his plan when he spoke.

"Why would I stop?" He asked, eyes confused before he turned away from his lovely wife, seeing the faces of his lovely children.
"I am Daddy. I'm sorry it's hard for you to understand, Jamie." He told the young boy. "You've been away for so long." He told him, crouching down in front of him. He could read the fear on the young boy's face. It was a shame that he didn't understand. "But you'll understand soon. We're a family, Jamie. We always have been. You and Mommy and Lexie have just been away for a little while, that's all."
This was good, he liked this, having MarieAnn with them this time. He'd only ever been able to bring Lexie and Jamie back before, but this time, it was different. They were all here. Yes, this was good.
The little girl spoke next, and he turned to see her, sat in front of her and smiled. He wasn't a naturally frightening man, but he didn't miss the fear in the little girls' eyes. "Don't be afraid, Lexie. Mommy is right here. Don't you see Mommy? I love your Mommy so much." He turned to smile at Krys.
"I wouldn't hurt any of you."
No, he would not. With the previous pairs of children, he realized that he had been the one to cause the children's death, but the original death had been MarieAnn's fault. This time, it would be her fault too.
No, he wouldn't hurt Jamie and Lexie. In the end, it would be teir mother who did that.
Just like it had been.

Krys could feel little Jack tremble within her arms and she felt a twinge of guilt within her chest. She knew that it wasn't her fault, hell she had just met little Jack a few moments ago, and yet she felt guilty and responsible for everything. These kids were innocent the worst they had ever experienced at the hands of adults was probably a time out from their loving parents. Krys had been beaten and punished in horrible ways by her drunken father she was seasoned for this... But not these kids. They had done nothing wrong and certainly not anything bad enough to deserve a situation like this falling on them.
As little Jack yelled out toward their abductor Krys' right hand found its way to the top of the boy's head bringing him close to her, shielding him in a way. Her other hand moved to rest protectively on his back. She couldn't let anything happen to him. Not Hotch's son. Oh god. Claire Burton and Aaron Hotchner, two people Krys knew as friends heck, even parental figures that looked out for her. Really the closest thing that Krys knew to a parent (besides Matt) when compared with her own terrible upbringing. And now only one thought consumed her mind and that was how absolutely angry the two would be at her for 'getting their children into a mess like this'. Suddenly she felt sick. Krys hated being yelled at, let alone by people she liked. That hurt her more than any slap, punch, or glass against her skin.
She would get these two kids back home and safe. She vowed that to herself in the midst of the moment as she held Jack close, trying to comfort him as best as she could being as awkward as she was. Her life was worth nothing (in her opinion) but these two little kids... They had to get back to their families who no doubt missed them. Krys, being as illogical as ever, assumed that no one would miss her but these kids, the entire BAU and SWAT would be looking for them. Right? "You can't keep us here." She forced out breathlessly, knowing it would all be in vain.
When the man crouched in front of the children speaking to them in such a sickening sweet way Krys felt a rush of anger pump through her and instantly found herself on her feet giving the man a shove. Of course, in her usual fashion, without thinking. "You stay away from them!" She yelled, her face bright red from the rush of emotions that pumped through her body causing her heart to race. She was going to protect these two kids if it meant her life. They had been through enough already.
"They aren't yours and they aren't mine!" Surely this man could understand simple logic. Once again, Krys was no profiler and had never been kidnapped or in the field. She really had no idea how to handle these situations other than just to battle against them. "Their families will be looking for them." Not us. Them. "And they will find them." An empty threat but deep down Krys hoped it was true. She too idolized Aaron Hotchner like a child would and figured that the man could do no wrong, especially where his own son was concerned.
"They both have parents that are looking for them. You can't keep them here." Glancing over her shoulder she saw the two pairs of young, worried eyes looking back at her which pushed her to go even further as she looked back to Gerald. "And my name is Krys not Mary.. Whatever." She shook her head, currently her mind didn't even want to process such simple thoughts as names and where usually she could remember countless odd, random facts.. Now she came up empty.

"I'm sorry that you're confused, MarieAnn. You'll come around, I promise. You won't be confused for long. Eventually, if you and Lexie and Jamie come around, you can come up and see your bedrooms." With his previous Jamies and Lexies, this had only happened once, a few days before the week long period had been over.
"Nobody is looking for them, or for you, or for me." In some way, he knew this wasn't true, but his mind skated over the fact. "Because this is where youre supposed to be. They are mine, and yours. You are mine, and I am yours. Don't you see, MarieAnn?"

Jack wiped his eyes, cuddling closer into Krys when she placed her hand on his head. He sobbed, stopping his ridiculously loud crying and calming down. He wrapped his arms around her neck, imagining his mother and father. What were they doing now? He bit his bottom lip, letting go of the bigger girl and facing the man again.
Jamie? The man had called him Jamie. Little Jack had not noticed this until now but, why Jamie, of all names? Even now as he faced death, Jack wondered why of all names Jamie. Jamie sounded like a girl's name. Not that there was anything wrong with that, but he wondered if it had to do with his appearance.
But maybe it's a boy's name too. Jack thought to ask his father, turning to face the man again. He was confused to why the man wanted them there. He didn't know what was the purpose of their presence. Feeling the tears creep up again, Jack pursed his lips and said in a croaky voice, "I-I'm not Jamie. I'm Jack. Jack H-Hotchner."

Lily glanced sideways at Krys who was holding Jack in her arms before turning her gaze back to the man. What did he mean? Krys wasn't her mother. Since he spoke so nicely to them, Lily found the courage to continue yelling at him. "She is not my mommy! I want my real mommy." Lily said this time standing up. Her knees felt weak and could give way underneath her at any moment. For a moment she even felt light headed, it must have been from the chloroform the man had forced her to breath while kidnapping her. Deciding it was better to sit down, lily rested her back against the cool wall and slowly sat down. This was useless, she figured. The yelling. It wouldn't get them out. She would never get to see her real mother again. These thoughts made Lily's heart ache and her tears to come down her cheeks with a greater flow. " I want my real mum, Claire Burton. Krys is not my mum and my name is Lily, not Lexie and that boy is....is..." She sobbed, her British accent thick. She had no idea who the boy was even though he had repeatedly said his name was Jack. Lily could not bring herself finish the sentence. She had just seen something that caught her attention. Behind the man was a staircase. Even though it was pretty dark she could still see it. At the top of the staircase there was a vague light. Must come from the room above. As the man started to give his speech about how he thought they really were, Lily saw it as her opportunity to maybe get away from there and maybe get some help. What made her hesitate though was to leave Krys, who she loved very much, almost as an older sister, and the boy in her age, behind. Should she tell them about what she was about to do? If she did maybe the man would overhear and stop her. Lily counted to three in her head before running past the man who had crouched down infront of Krys and Jack, and headed to the staircase. Adrenaline was pumping in her veins and her heart was pounding in her chest. Even though she felt weak, the adrenaline made her continue climbing the stairs. She had to hold onto the banister, of course, so that not to fall. ______________ OOC: I stopped there because I leave it up to you to decide if the door is locked or open or whatever....
